Call for Outgoing Project to France, Service Civique Scheme: AUVERGNE – PUY DE DÔME – CLERMONT FERRAND (DURATION 11 MONTH)

IIWC need one active member to do voluntary service in FRANCE through Service Civique Scheme. Please read the explanation carefully.

What is Service Civique ?

The project of a voluntary service between France and several Asian countries was thought of in Indonesia during the NAEYV seminar last February 2011. Concordia, Solidarités Jeunesses and UNAREC from France have decided to work together with the French agency for the Service Civique for the implementation of this project, sending about 40 volunteers to several partners in Asia and hosting about 10 volunteers in reciprocity as well. We would like to work with our trusted partners as agreed during the NAEYV seminar with present partners and the CCIVS: IWO from Korea, VPV and SJ Vietnam from Vietnam, IIWC from Indonesia, FSL India, and NICE from Japan.

Start and Length:

The project would start in October 2011 BUT because of there still one place, we can send one volunteer to join this program on March 2012.

Term and Condition:

All volunteers will sign Service Civique contracts.  They will receive 446,65€ (Euro) of pocket money a month. Host Organization SJ France and Concordia France will charge participation fee 200 Euro/month. So, the volunteer will get 246,65 Euro/month. The travel fees are not covered and neither are the visa fees. Volunteers will have to pay for that on their own. There is possibility loan for flight ticket which will cut from monthly pocket money/month (example: flight ticket 1000 Euro, pocket money will be reduced 100 Euro/month automatically).

études ET chantiers is a movement OF « éducation populaire » (non formal education) which works for the citizens’ participation (youth and adults) in the preservation and management of our spaces of life.

In the Massif Central, études ET chantier espace central, works practically

• on short term actions (international workcamps of volunteers) or on long term actions (integration workcamps or workshops),
• on territories in cooperation with local authorities, non profit organisations
• to answer needs (heritage, environment, culture…)
• with various PUBLICS: people in professional training or integration, volunteers of all ages…

In Clermont-Ferrand, an International Pole was created to mobilise citizens on these PROJECTS:

information on international workcamps of volunteers and long term volunteering projects, pre-departure trainings, organisation of programmes with specific publics, support to the commitment in associative life and to the emergence of new projects.

HOST ORGANISATION: études ET chantiers espace central, 3 rue des petits gras, 63000 Clermont-Ferrand.

MISSION

The volunteer will help the employees to accompany young volunteers in the Auvergne region and to promote volunteering. For this, he/she will be under the authority the International Pole coordinator, within a small team. During summer, he/she may also be a co-campleader for one or several workcamps in the region.

• Participation to the animation of a place for welcoming and informing people on volunteering
• Participation to the organisation of Information days, original events, fairs, pre-departure training
• Participation to the development of specific local partnerships : schools, district houses, student organisations
• Co-leading one or several workcamps in the Auvergne region (specific training will be provided)
• Participation to the development of associative life : link with the members and volunteers of the association, help to the organisation of local projects by the volunteers

REQUIREMENTS and CONDITIONS:

• IIWC active member between 18-25 years old
• Had been join Training for Camp Leader and or Training for Contact Person
• Had been join Work Camp and or being active contact person at least for 3 months
• Willing to engage in IIWC activities after comeback to Indonesia at least for 1 year
• Member IIWC Pool of Trainers will more preferable
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet)
• Motivation for associative life and team work
• Have big motivation, open minded and commitment to succeed the program
• Communication skills and adaptability
• Good level in English and French
• 30h per week (possible on week-end and evenings)
• ALLOWANCE:  440€/month (from the state) + 100€/month. Participation FEES: you will give back 200€/month to the host organisation for accommodation fees.
