Regular Outgoing: Thailand (DaLaa)

Our partners from Thailand, DaLaa, already renew their project information. Now their project for Workcamp or LMTV is open. Please check this information:

WHERE are the projects?

Thailand (depend on the project site)

WHEN will the projects?

• Workcamp: Around January to August (depend on the project date)
• LMTV: (depend on the project date)

WHO can apply?

Member of IIWC, especially if member who have been join IIWC activities.

HOW to apply?

1. Please check the date and the project information, please open the attachments.
2. Then choose the project that you are interesting.
3. Contact IIWC staff, for Workcamp: stv_iiwcindonesia@yahoo.com and for LMTV: lmtv_iiwcindonesia@yahoo.com
4. Fill the application form and send to IIWC, for Workcamp to: stv_iiwcindonesia@yahoo.com and for LMTV to: lmtv_iiwcindonesia@yahoo.com. And also Cc to pr_iiwcindonesia@yahoo.com. Find the application form in attachment.
5. Wait for the confirmation of acceptance/not acceptance of placement.
6. (for LMTV Projects) After you get the confirmation of acceptance, an invitation letter from DaLaa will be sent through IIWC. IIWC will also provide a guarantee letter for you. These documents are needed for visa application to Thailand Embassy. IIWC will charge the volunteers amount 1.000.000 rupiah. This is for guaranty of responsible to IIWC, and it will pay back to volunteers after they finish their reports.
7. You need to prepare your travel yourself. Such as booking the flight ticket, studying the culture, language, etc.
8. An information sheet of project will be sent through IIWC, normally one month before the project, so you can start to prepare yourself for it.
9. You also should join departure training after flight ticket (and visa for LMTV Projects) clearance.

Because this is a Regular Outgoing Scheme, so there is no financial support.

So, in this project you will spend for:

1. Participant fee (Workcamp: 7000 Bath (170 Euro), LMTV: 15000 Bath for 2 month, 21000 Bath for 3 month, more than 3 month they will pay 6,000 Baht (about 150 Euro) a month (after 3 month))
2. Flight Ticket (return ticket)
3. Visa (for LMTV Projects) and travel insurance
4. Local transport to project site
5. Extra cost/Personal needed

Participant fee will be include: accommodation and meals during the program, invitation and guaranty letter for getting visa (for LMTV Project), and materials for projects.

Participant fee will be exclude: Free-time at the weekend
