REGULAR Outgoing Program: Vietnam (March-June 2012)

Our partner from Vietnam, SJV (Solidarites Jeunesses Vietnam), already renew their project information. Now their project for Workcamp or LMTV is open. Please check this information:

Workcamp: Around March to June (depend on the project date)
LMTV: (depend on the project date)

WHO can apply?

Member of IIWC, especially if member who have been join IIWC activities.

HOW to apply?

Please check the date and the project information, please open the attachments.
Then choose the project that you are interesting.

Fill the application form and send to IIWC, for Workcamp to:stv_iiwcindonesia@yahoo.com and for LMTV to: lmtv_iiwcindonesia@yahoo.com. And also cc to: pr_iiwcindonesia@yahoo.com. Find the application form in attachment.
Wait for the confirmation of acceptance/not acceptance of placement.
(for LMTV Projects) After you get the confirmation of acceptance, an invitation letter from SJV will be sent through IIWC. IIWC will also provide a guarantee letter for you. These documents are needed for visa application to Vietnam Embassy. IIWC will charge the volunteers amount 1.000.000 rupiah. This is for guaranty of responsible to IIWC, and it will pay back to volunteers after they finish their reports.
You need to prepare your travel yourself. Such as booking the flight ticket, studying the culture, language, etc.
An information sheet of project will be sent through IIWC, normally one month before the project, so you can start to prepare yourself for it.
You also should join departure training after flight ticket (and visa for LMTV Projects) clearance.

Because this is a Regular Outgoing Scheme, so there is no financial support.

So, in this project you will spend for:

Participant fee (Workcamp: 160 Euro, LMTV: 250 Euro/month)
Flight Ticket (return ticket)
Visa (for LMTV Projects) and travel insurance
Local transport to project site
Extra cost/Personal needed

Participant fee will be include: accommodation and meals during the program, invitation and guaranty letter for getting visa (for LMTV Project), transportation to project site, and necessary materials for projects.

Participant fee will be exclude: Free-time at the weekend

Dear Amanatullah Savitri,

Untuk bisa ikut kegiatan outgoing, at least kamu harus jadi member IIWC dulu. Setelah itu kamu ikut beberapa kegiatan IIWC yang ada di Indonesia. Contohnya (bisa salah satu):
A. Kegiatan di bidang STV: ikut workcamp (sebagai peserta ataupun campleader), prep team atau fasilitator pada STV Local Partner gathering, Spring/ Summer workcamp Evaluation
B. Kegiatan di bidang LMTV: pernah menjadi Contact Person selama paling tidak 2 bulan, menjadi prep team atau facilitator pada LMTV On arrival training, LMTV Local partner gathering, LMTV Middle Evaluation, LMTV Final evaluation.
C. Kegiatan Even IIWC: pernah mengikuti event IIWC atau weekend workcamp (sebagai peserta atau prep team)
D. Kegiatan Training IIWC: pernah mengikuti TCL atau TfT atau TCP. baik sebagai peserta atau prep team atau trainer

Mengapa harus ikut salah satu kegiatan diatas dahulu? Karena untuk memberi gambaran kegiatan yang ada di Indonesia dahulu, Untuk membekali pengalaman peserta sebelum ke LN, dan membekali kegiatan yang adaptif dan creatif.
